Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) or NEDA was established on 17 May 2005 under the Royal Decree on Establishment of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization), B.E. 2548, announced in the Royal Thai Government Gazette, Volume 122, Part 39A, dated 16 May 2005. The Royal Thai Government Gazette consists of seven sections, 54 articles, and one transitory provision as follows:

NEDA participates in the conference

with Tanao-Sri cabinet in Myanmar

Senior Colonel Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice President of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA) and the representatives from Ministry of Construction led by H.E. U Hla Tun Oo, Deputy Director General, Department of Highway participated in the conference with H.E. U Myint Maung, Chief Minister, Tanintharyi Regional Government and the Tanao-Sri cabinet, the local government in the area who are responsible for Two-Lane Road Improvement Project connecting Dawei Special Economic Zone and Thai-Myanmar boarder. The conference aimed to report the project progress and brief the Draft Final Report of the Survey and Design of Two-Lane Road Improvement Project connecting Dawei Special Economic Zone and Thai-Myanmar boarder at the Office of Tanao-Sri Ministers, Dawei, The Republic of the Union of Myanmar on 28th August 2019.

Senior Colonel Saranyu Viriyavejakul, D.Sc., Vice President of Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA) took part in a route survey and consideration of Wildlife Crossing position including the progress of the study and design of two-lane road improvement project connecting Dawei Special Economic Zone and Thai-Myanmar boarder, with the representatives from Myanmar’s Ministry of Construction led by H.E. U Hla Tun Oo, Deputy Director General, Department of Highway and the representatives from World Wildlife Fund (WWF), at Dawai, Republic of the Union of Myanmar on 29th August 2019.
